Behold I do a new thing!

“See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.” Isaiah 43:19 NIV

A way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.

Though things may seem hopeless at times and situations seem as if nothing is ever going to change, God says, "Behold I am doing a new thing-making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland".

God specializes in hopeless situations and can make beauty for ashes in our lives.

He wants us to give to Him our hopeless situations, pain, disappointments, frustrations and confusion.

What does this mean? The Bible says in Romans 8:28, -All things work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to His purpose.

This means although whatever you have been through this last year, if you surrender those things to God and trust Him, He can work things out for our good through His grace.

Sometimes the painful things we go through helps us draw closer to Him. Our pain gives us a reason to trust Him. Our experiences can be a blessing to others going through similar circumstances.

Let us pray together in agreement...

Heavenly Father,

I pray for those reading this post right now. Pray for you to bless them this new year. Help them to surrender to You all of their hurt, their pain, their disappointments, and receive in return your peace, your joy and your comfort. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit and guide them this new year in the direction You have for their lives. I ask this in Jesus name. Amen.

If anyone has not received Jesus as their Lord and Savior and wishes to do so, please say the prayer below:

Heavenly Father,

Please forgive me for my sins. I invite you Jesus into my heart as my Lord and Savior. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit. Help me to follow You. I ask this in Jesus name. Amen
