God With Us

Scripture Focus

“Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel.”

The Christmas story is a beautiful story about God's Promise for Salvation being Fulfilled. God Promised to the Old Testament Prophets, that He will send us a Savior, to forgive our sins -and make a way for us to be with Him for eternity.

The Christmas story started on that beautiful night, with the stars brightly shining- when Jesus was born in Bethlehem in a humble manger. The angels knew exactly what the birth of Jesus meant... and they were saying "Glory to God in the highest and peace to on whom His Favor rests". The shepherds were able to see the angels and were very excited to meet Jesus!! We should also be very excited and filled with Joy as well!!

Jesus’ name is called Immanuel which means “God with us”. Christmas is a time to remember the Greatest Gift that God gave us, which is the Gift of Salvation and the Forgiveness of sins- and an opportunity for us to be with Him for eternity. So let us never forget the true meaning of Christmas- which is God with us." For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life." (John 3:16)
