I am ALL you need!

Scripture Focus:

Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” '

What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.

“Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven.

God’s promise to us is that He will NEVER leave us, nor forsake us!

God is there to provide guidance, comfort, strength, peace and help in any and every circumstance we are facing on this earth. All we need to do is ask for His help.

God wants us to include Him in every part of our life. We can speak to Him throughout our day and ask for help for any and all situations we are facing.

That’s right, no matter how big or small the matter, He wants to hear from you!

Which other person will want to listen to you about every single problem or trouble you are facing? God will. We hand over our problems and burdens to God and He, in return, will give us comfort and peace. It is an amazing exchange! In all your troubles, God will offer you guidance in how to handle it. He will give you the strength you are missing. He will give you the ability to do things that you can't do on your own.

The promise we have is that He will NEVER leave us nor FORSAKE us. We don’t have that guarantee with any of our human relationships -where someone will never leave us, never forsake us or never let us down. But God won’t let you down. He is always there for you even in the darkest of times. Just call on His name and He will be right there to help you, guide you and lead you in whatever you are going through!

You don’t need to face this life alone. You don’t have to carry the burdens you feel by yourself. God wants to help you. When we pray and ask God to help us, we open the door for Him to move in our situations. You will see Him helping you get through this life. However, this won't happen unless we communicate openly and honestly with Him. God created us to have fellowship with Him. He wants us to talk to Him, walk with Him and include Him in our everyday lives. So no matter how little or how big the thing you are facing, just ask God to help you, He wants to help you, He is there for you and will never leave you nor forsake you!

How does one practically invite God into any situation? I have a prayer request section on my phone where I write out all of my prayer requests that are bothering me- then throughout the day when I am worried or stressed I say Lord I surrender all those prayer requests into Your Hands. In Jesus name I ask. Amen.

Throughout the day, when I am struggling to get things done, I say short prayers silently, like God please give me the grace to get through this work day, or give me grace to do my dishes, my laundry or whatever I feel I need His help for.

If I hear something on the news, or hear bad news about someone, I lift those issues up to God in prayer-immediately. Again, short quick prayers are the key. I don't get burdened by bad news, I leave my burdens to God. We were never designed to carry burdens. When we carry burdens, we become stressed. We can get physical illnesses from carrying burdens we were not meant to carry. So when I get worried about things, I can just say, Lord I lift up these worries that I have to you in Jesus name. Amen.

Sometimes God has asked me to ask for prayer from my Christian sisters in Christ. God has asked my sisters and I to pray in agreement over big situations. When I feel that the burden that I carry is too heavy, He asks me to request prayer from others as well. This helps increase our faith when God moves with believers praying for each other. I do this with a few of my Christian sisters over a text message. I basically write out my prayer to God and ask for them to pray in agreement. We have done this, and have seen God answer our prayers.

I also encourage you to keep a prayer journal. Keep a journal of both big and small matters that you pray for. It is amazing to go back and refer to it after some time. You will see how many times God has answered your prayers and helped you out. As long as I lift up my burdens to Him, no matter how big or small, I know He will be handling it and I can go about my day with peace.

I want to encourage you to have a few Christians sisters in Christ, (or brothers in Christ if you are male) to pray with you when the burden is too heavy to bear. God want us to lift up each other in prayer.

Let us pray for more of His presence in our lives

Heavenly Father,

I pray for those who are carrying a heavy burden in their lives. Help them to cast their care and their burdens to you. I ask you to help them in any and ALL situations they and their loved ones are facing. Lift this burden off their shoulders and give them the peace that surpasses all understanding. Guide them to seek you in every moment of their lives so they never feel alone when they are facing life’s trials. Fill them with Your Peace as You are the Prince of Peace.

I ask this in Jesus name.

Amen

If anyone has not received Jesus as their Lord and Savior and wishes to do so, please say the prayer below:

Heavenly Father,

Please forgive me for my sins. I invite you Jesus into my heart as my Lord and Savior. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit. Help me to follow You.

I ask this in Jesus name.

Amen
