Take One Day at a Time

Updated: Nov 29, 2025

“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”

Take one day at a time with the Lord, we don’t need to know the future, just follow God’s instructions one day at a time. We want the blue print of our lives sometimes knowing everything that will happen, how it will happen, when it will happen. If we knew all those things we would worry even more. If we knew in advance all the hardships- we have to face, we will be focusing on that. So God is saying don’t worry about tomorrow, trust God today and in the moment and follow His one step instructions.

He gives you one step at a time, if He hasn’t revealed tomorrow yet —don’t worry when we need to know something, He will speak to us. Just try to take one day at a time- and try not to figure everything out, is what I feel God is saying to us. In 2020, there has been so much uncertainty and so we needed to trust God daily. No one knows the future …but God does! and He is still God and in control!! If He hasn’t revealed things to us -we still need to trust Him and when He needs to tell us something He will. So don’t worry about tomorrow, focus on what we need to do today -as the burdens of each day is more than enough to deal with.. so don’t need to add on by worrying. Rest in God and Trust in God!

Let us pray

Heavenly Father,

We thank you for every reader of this blog right now. We pray for us to take one step at a time instructions with You. We pray You would Help us to Trust You and not try to figure everything out -and have our minds constantly racing. Help us to Trust You no matter what and walk obediently with Your Guidance-- as You Speak to us one day at a time. We surrender all our prayer requests, burdens and concerns into Your Hands.

We ask all these things in Jesus name.

Amen
