Thankfulness, Part I

Scripture Focus

'Give thanks to the Lord , for he is good. His love endures forever. '

Psalms 136:1 (https://my.bible.com/bible/111/PSA.136.1)

We need to have a heart of thankfulness in all seasons of life. We need to reflect on all the blessings and good things that God has given us. We all have things that we can be thankful for. We just need to be willing to focus on (and continue to thank God for) those things.

God appreciates a person who is thankful and grateful for His blessings. God moves in our praise, not our complaints. Be thankful and grateful to God, even in bad circumstances. We have something to be thankful for in every season of life. Above all, we have the greatest thing to be thankful for, which is our salvation. Jesus Christ died and paid the ultimate sacrifice for our sins, so that we can have eternal life. We have a hope and a future. That is something to be grateful for!

Let us have a heart of gratitude for all that God has done for us.

Let us pray.

Heavenly Father,

We thank you for every reader of this blog right now. We are so thankful for all the wonderful Blessings that You have given us. We thank you Lord for Your Son Jesus. We thank you for Jesus dying on the cross for our sins. We thank you for the gift of salvation that we have. We thank you for giving us eternal life. We thank you because our eternal life will have no sorrow, pain or suffering. We thank You for Your Holy Spirit. We thank You that the Holy Spirit is with us, even until the end of this age. We thank You for helping us and caring for us in the mist of our troubles. We thank You that the Holy Spirit is our Comforter, Counselor and Helper. We thank You God, (even though You are the Almighty God), for caring about the details in our lives. We love You Lord. We give You thanks. We commit all our burdens and prayer requests into Your hands.

We ask all these things in Jesus name.

Amen
